Road Sport 8v – £450
A standard valve size head... this head is suitable for road performance and even budget club motorsport use. High spec road engines can make over 150hp with this head, and open induction (twin DCOE/DHLA carb or throttle body) trackday/motorsport engines can exceed 170hp.
Club Sport 8v – £670*
A big valve head...*this head is available in a number of valve size combinations subject to the application and customer requirement. The guide price is for a version with either big inlet or big exhaust valve. Versions are available using slightly bigger valves on standard seats, so the price can increase or even decrease accordingly... contact us with your requirements.
Race 8v – £950
Our championship winning race spec head, as used on our latest development hillclimb engines by the current welsh hillclimb champion. Suitable for high power track day engines through to full race use, this head spec features bigger inlet & exhaust valves... size subject to application. Our race spec heads have been proven to over 190hp in 1800 form and over 200hp in 2ltr applications and suitable for high power trackday to race use.
Road Sport 16v – £590
Our Road Sport spec for the KR/9A/ABF based 16v. This head is our recommended spec for road to track based engines when still using the std inlet plenum.
Club Sport 16v – £720
A further improved version of the Road Sport 16v. Retaining the standard valves sizes but with additional porting. Suitable for road, trackday, competition spec engines when using open induction (twin DCOE/DHLA carb or throttle bodies) to obtain the full benefit of this high flow head.
The above are based on customer supplied core units. All of our heads feature new valve guides, 3-angle valves seats, re-profiled valves, and are re-surfaced to suit the application. New replacement valves are at extra cost where/if required, or can be supplied by the customer either as new or good used units. Assembly of cylinder heads using customer supplied stem seals or uprated springs supplied by the customer or any additional machining can be discussed at the time of order.
Our in-house flowbench developed cylinder heads are modified to produce the best possible flow curve (not just peak flow increases) for the valve size used, be it standard size valves for road use through to competition-spec big valves for race use.
